All Saints Camp in turmoil following split claims

All Saints are set to confirm "early next week" whether or not they are splitting up according to the band's spokesman Neil Redding.

Music industry rumours have reached epic proportions since the Sun yesterday (Saturday) claimed that the Saints had snubbed the Smash Hits awards due to singer Nicole Appleton's alleged departure.

The rumours suggest that Nicole's departure is due to stress and rows with other members Shaznay Lewis, Melanie Blatt and sister Natalie.

The official line from the band's management is that the band had suddenly pulled out of the awards due to "illness".

Memories of Geri Halliwell's departure from the Spice Girls following a series of non-appearances due to illness are likely to fuel rumours until the official line is drawn when the All Saints meet their agents and label executives next week.
