ALL SAINTS proved they were still together by playing a trick on the audience at their latest gig.

The band were determined to show fans they had settled their differences after my story on Saturday that Melanie Blatt had stormed out of a recording session, threatening to quit.

At a G.A.Y. gig at London’s Astoria that night, club promoter Jeremy Joseph came on stage to announce their arrival with a copy of Bizarre in his hand.

He teased the audience by saying: "Are there going to be three of them or four?"

Shaznay, Nicole and Natalie came on first, leaving the audience wondering if Mel would be next.

Then it was announced Mel would be coming on ... and Spice Girl Mel C walked on to the stage. She told the crowd: "Hi, I’m the fourth member of All Saints."

Moments later All Saints’ Mel appeared with a smile.

She playfully ejected the Spice Girl, saying: "Oi, you! Get off."

An insider told me: "Mel C had been out drinking with the girls before the show and they thought it would be funny to bring her on for a laugh.

"The girls have patched things up now but there have been some serious questions asked over the last few days about the future of All Saints.
