All Saints may perform as a trio
18th December 2000 - Worldpop

All Saints have been speaking exclusively to worldpop about their forthcoming tour, which takes place next May, confirming that they may perform without Nicole Appleton.

'If there are days that she can't do it, she can't do it,' Shaznay Lewis revealed backstage at last weekend's Record Of The Year celebrations. 'But we'll still do it,' the singer added.

Bandmate Melanie Blatt was more positive, affirming, 'it's going to be great. It's going to make life easier for us as well, we won't have to work so hard either! It's going to be more intimate,' Blatt continued. 'We're going to be playing smaller venues and concentrating on the music.'

'When we did arenas, we had to do the whole big production thing,' added Shaznay Lewis. 'This time we want to really jam with our band.'

All Saints play the Manchester Apollo on 6 May, Aberdeen E&CC (12), Edinburgh Playhouse (13), Sheffield City Hall (15), Plymouth Pavilions (18), Brighton Centre (19), Cardiff Arena (20), Bournemouth International Centre (22), Birmingham NIA (23), Hammersmith Apollo (26, 27, 29).

All Saints new single All Hooked Up is released on 15 January 2001.
