Introducing The Ryes
Hailing from the south east and London, The Ryes write some of the most
catchiest indie pop songs I have heard this year. It's funny how a band sit there amongst my favourites for the last six month's. I just had a realisation that I had not introduced them to you guys. The band have been picking up good reviews over the last few months.
Hopefully the link up with Ben's Brothers excellent management company Safe will help the lads get the recognition I feel they richly deserve. As Kip recently said in a post when you hear these tracks blasting in your local bowling alley, remember where you heard them first.
The sound for me is that catchy stick in your head type that bands like the Hoosiers and Scouting for Girls have. However, The Ryes sound has something a bit more to it. At times there is quite a Beatles feel to it circa 1968.
