It's been a funny old week in the life of The Ryes. We've been back in the studio recording two new tracks, 'Falling' and 'Separation'. The drums and the bass have been laid down for both tracks and soon it will be time for the good stuff (only joking Mark and Dave)!
Dan has written a new track which we're all buzzin' about. It was just one of those ones that worked straight away and like a teenage scholboy in Amsterdam....came quickly.
Paul was written about in The Sunday Mirror. Apparently he was copping off with Gail Porter at the o2 Undiscovered party which WE can reveal is the biggest pile of tosh you've ever heard in your life. 'In the words of Shaggy' says Paul 'It wasn't me'. The real culprit and canoodler was in another band called Ry Byron and the Gentlemen but somehow poor old Paul was a victim of mistaken identity. Comes with the territory I suppose.
The band made it in to The Independant yesterday and got a good write up, 'we're pleased' says James.(He didn't actually say anything I just wanted to include him in this blog). It all good though, The Ryes train keep tumblin' on and look out for Podcasts in the future, that's right, Podcasts, you will be able to hear us speak, talk and discuss all manner of jibber jabber.
